After graduating with high honors from the University of Texas and with honors from the University of Texas Law School, he married Ann Murchison and started his legal career with Vinson & Elkins
Moved to Fort Worth in 1974 where he joined the Fort Worth Office of Haynes and Boone, LLP and currently serves in the firm’s Public Law group representing borrowers, underwriters, and trustees in corporate note and municipal bond financial transactions
Recognized as a “top attorney” in the Fort Worth Business Press, 360 West Magazine, Scott Publications, and in The Best Lawyers in America, Woodward/White, Inc., for Project Finance Law as well as Selected Civic and Professional Activities
Since 2010 has served as Trustee in District 4 for the Tarrant County College District, including President of the Board of Trustees
Presently a member and former President of the Board of Directors of Community Healthcare of Texas and member of the Board of Directors of The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation
Former member of the Board of Directors of The Presbyterian Night Shelter, The Gladney Center for Adoption, The WARM Place, and Big Brothers and Sisters of Tarrant County
Former member, Chair and Vice Chair, of the Fort Worth Zoning Commission (District 7)
